Case 580CK Questions

As a new Case 580 Construction King owner where to I find the serial number on this T/L/B? Do the Loader and Backhoe have separate model and serial numbers? Also does anyone have a Air Filter assembly for a 580 with the diesel engine? All I got was the rubber elbow facing the front of the tractor. I am looking for manuals also, are there any serious tricks to bleeding the fuel system on the engine? The previous owners never had it started but the second previous owner supposedly said it was running when he quit using it, just had no way to transport it.

The serial # tag should be on the right side of the dash area. I bought a manual in CD form off ebay for $31 and it's pretty decent. You might have better luck on the general tractor forum. Seems there's not much interest in 580ck's on this forum.

I know there are different models of backhoes. I'm not sure about the loaders, I assume there may be a few different models. We have owned ours for a few months now so i am still trying to figure out where everything is. I know ours has one serial number up by the roof on the roll cage.

Tim this is an open air model no cage. My brother said he found a tag on the side of the Hoe Control Console that indicates it is a #33 Hoe but it is painted over. Need to look around the Steering Console some more.
It is still on the trailer, thinking if I can get the diesel system bled out I might be able to drive it off the trailer. I also need to get both front tires fixed, might be easier to move.

just start pumping the primer on the fuel pump. I dont remember what screw it is on the side of the injector pump, I'll have to look at the manual later. I know on ours we have the extend-a-hoe backhoe. Works great when you really need to reach out. I have 2 good front tires on mine but the back tires are shot, wanna trade. The front tires on mine are just two regular truck tires that the previous owner put on. But if you cannot find the bleeder screws a bit of cranking and pumping she will eventually get started. Did you already open up the bleeder screws on the fuel filters. You keep pumping, till you feel some resistance or get tired then open the first bleeder screw on the first fuel filter, then close it, keep doing that until you get fuel out. Then pump some more and start on the next bleeder screw on the next fuel filter, then keep moving along.
