My dad is trying to get a 3-16 old eagle hitch plow going. It was green and red/orange originally and has a big roller to let the plow swing back and forth. It has a landside wheel that may or may not be original but is missing the tailwheel.
We tried it over the weekened just for grins in some alfalfa and the thing swings over to the left and stays there, it doesn't turn the soil over all the time but rather shears it of and slids it over. Is the tailwheel required to help it track straight? (I think it is) Any ideas on what model it is so we can find a book for it? Pictures of a tailwheel would be great so we might be able to make something work too.
