Before I dig into them for a winter project, I was wondering a few things. Are the disks the same as a SC? I see John Saeli has new sets of linings for sale on epay and lists SC and VAC as the same. I know the VAC drum brakes good but have never had the need to replace the disk brakes before just clean them. I blew both pinion seals and they in turn made the linings crumble(1944). Is there any tricks to these? They don't look hard to work on.
