Hello,

I'm new to the forum and have a few questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Can anyone tell me what battery to use in my Case D530 Construction King? I called Case and they said that the original battery was part #1M-105R, however, they said that was no longer available. They did mention that the original was a 6volt.

2. Does anyone have a diagram for the wiring?

I appreciate any info that you can provide.

Thanks,
Chris

If I am correct the batteries on a 530 were mounted on a plate over the shuttle shift cover ahead of the 4 speed shifter, If you want it to start when cold don't use any old car battery, The old Delco starters were marginal at best and need a good group 30 commercial grade battery with 900-1000 amps especially if you have and intend to use the preheater, the any old battery would be dead before you tried to start it after preheating. mEl

Tim,

I would be interested in the wiring diagram. I tried doing a private message, but it appears to be down. Are you able to fax the wiring diagram to me? Thanks for your help.

Chris
