Hello everyone,
I am working on my old SC I nned to drain the transmission and the hydrolic pump and refilll both. where do I start? I need to know where the drain plugs are for both and what do I refill the transmission and hydrolic with?
On a side note I just converted to a 12 volt system. For those of you who are considering it: a chevy WT 1500 2wd 6 cylinder altanator has the same mounting points as the case SC. No fudging the mounts almost. you have to pull the 5/8 pin and replace it with a 5/16 pin with a bushing but no welding or other materials needed. you will have to change pulleys on the generator and alternator but that's a quick swap.
I hope this helps anyone who is thinking about converting over to 12 volts
