Bite the Bullet and do it right.

Pull the radiator out and take it to a radiator repair shop. They can evaluate it and tell you if it can be fixed or if it needs a re-core. The quick fix of dumping sealant in it can lead to overheating or it springing another leak at a bad time. Also you are risking your engine when it overheats.

You didn't say what this tractor is but, if the cost is too much for your budget you may be able to find a good used radiator.

For terminology: your radiator has tanks (radiator top tank and radiator bottom tank), not gas tanks. The radiator core is between them. The core has fins (horizontal, thin flat metal strips) and tubes (running vertical, carrying coolant between the tanks) pushed through the fins. It looks like you may have a tube or tubes leaking.

If your bound and determined not to do it wright, I had a pretty fair single hole leak in this Farmall A in one tube 1/2 way down the radiator. I took the rad. out and laid it flat, cleaned it really well and patched it with JB Weld. That was 6 years ago and I cut 2 acres a week with it. This is a thermosiphon system and does not run under much pressure if any.

Nice looking tractor sometimes it?s hard to decide what to do I?m going to take the gas tank off and take a peek at it and if I see there?s more than one leak in there I don?t know if I could get it clean enough to put JB 80 in maybe I?ll just terret out and do it right probably cost me 100 bucks or more?

It's $450 for a new one. I'd imagine a radiator shop would be substantially less than that to fix it. I'd have it done right, or you'll be doing it twice. Doing it wrong the first time may limit the options for a proper repair.

For Jim.ME, I'm pretty sure he's working on a G which has the gas tank in very close proximity to the radiator.

Thanks

I don't think something like AlumaSeal would fix a leak in the tank like that. All you'll do is plug the tubes. That'll have to be soldered. Sometimes owning this stuff is a pain.
