B or C front weights

I wa recently at a threshing show, and saw a B or C Allis that had oblong cast iron weights that ran along each side of the front portion of the tractor. The shape of these weights was sort of like an "i" laying down. It looked like a good system to keep the front end of the tractor on the ground when going up a steep incline.
I have never seen this type before. Does anyone know if they were Allis factory options, or instead some after market product? In any event, I would like to locate a pair.
 
They are factory be prepared to pay $200 to $300 for a set unless you get lucky.Also made for the B were slab style weights that bolted on the center of the front end with J bolts.
I have a couple sets of those.
 
I have never seen a set of weights for a B or C but I have a case iron valve cover and oil pan which adds a good bit of weight. Ben laying in this room for a couple of years now
 
When you are shopping ask for engine side weights or just side weights. That is what they are commonly called. Models B and C are the same, CA is different. Last I knew around $200 a set and easy to find. They were also reproduced for a time and may still be. Check here at YT or anyone of many places that sell repro tractor parts. There is also an arch weight that hangs in the middle of the front axle for a B only
 
Dad had the side weights on his C when I was a kid. I didn't have them for any of my B's or C's as they seemed a little price and might deprive me of my main addiction, called eating!
 
When I was a kid we had a couple of weights like that we used on the old MM ZA when we pulled it at the county fair to keep the front end down. Always wondered what they went to, now I know.
 

Jay, I have a pair of those weights weights I'd part with. I see you are in Minnesota. I'm about 45 mile west of the Twin Cities. It would be cost prohibitive to ship them.
