I bought a non running 5020 Allis Chalmers with a loader. The tractor had been sitting for about 10 years. Last night I got it started for the first time. I can move the shifter in any gear but the tractor will not move. No grinding of gears or weird noises. Just simply wont move. it feels like it goes into all the gears. I was thinking the clutch may just be shot but I wanted other opinions before tearing it apart

I have one with a loader and bad clutch. I can still use it in low range to feed hay. New clutch and pressure plate on the floor board of the old ugly truck. Loader has to come off to split the tractor. Soon it will not move at all and will get the loader removed and the clutch put in. Wouldn't know if that is your problem but it sure is mine.

Had one with a clutch that would stick, but that causes you to not be able to put it in gear, as it
grinds. Split it a couple of years ago and replaced bad pressure plate. Had a loader on it as well,
that adds to the job, but its pretty straight forward.
