I am planning to go to this year's show. I have never been there before.
1) Will get there Friday afternoon. Plan to stay Friday night and Saturday. Then drive home Sunday. Is there enogh stuff going on for it to take 1 1/2 days to see it???

2) I can walk pretty well but how spread out is everything?? Some shows you just about have to have a cart to get around to it all.

3) How many of you fellows are going???

4) Any Yter meet ups planned???

It is in multiple buildings at the McLeod County fair grounds in Hutchinson, plus field demos (plowing, combining, baling,etc.). Large outdoor display area for tractors, equipment. Usually have some seminars on AC equipment. There are rental golf carts available. Last year I used my own scooter to get around. I expect to be at my son"s show NE of Alexandria...but it would be fun to meet you and other YTers. I"m about 45 min north of Hutch. google Upper Midwest AC Club for more info.

I live in Hutchinson and will probably get a swap space. I have a lot of Agco paint to sell and a few AC parts. I might have a 3 bottom snap coupler plow with gauge wheel there for sale. I also take my Dad's CA that he bought new in Paynesville Mn. It's hard to get a hotel room so you may have to stay a little farther away. I think it is a very good show. We could meet at noon on Saturday, we just need to pick a spot. My son has thousands of 2 cylinder parts if you need anything.

There are shuttles (tractor pulled wagons with seats) circulating around the grounds and out to the adjoining field demonstrations. It's a well run show. The field demos are centered around a central set of temporary bleachers. If you skip the field demonstrations and just looked at exhibits you could probably see everything in a day and a half.

There will be a meeting of the Allis-Chalmers.com Forum members meeting–east end of Indoor Tractor Display building #18 at 11:00 am every morning, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. EVERYONE who is interested in Allis is WELCOME!! It is a GREAT show with LOTS to do and see. You will have a great time and if you don't enjoy yourself, it'll be no ones fault but your own!
Things are close enough that you won't HAVE to do a lot of walking and there is a wagon that makes the rounds to take you where ever you want to go. The hardest part is the area where vendors have their wares and if you're looking for anything, that can take a while. You DON'T have to do a lot of walking unless you want to.
You'll have FUN and PLEASE, come to the forum meeting each day! That's how you meet and make friends!!!!

I have not been up there since they moved it to the Fairgrounds--too many scheduling conflicts. I went a number of times when it was held out at Karg's. It was always a good show. I need to get back up there one of these years.
