A-C D-17 3 pt hitch suggestions.

Hi Everyone,
I have a Series 2 D-17 with Snap-Coupler hitch. I have a plow and harrow attachment but that's it, so far. I already have a few other pieces of 3 point equipment I'd like to use with it.
I am considering purchasing a 3 pt hitch conversion for it. I have noticed there are a couple designs available.
Does anyone have any suggestion or advice as to which is better? Some look like a copy of the original A or V style and some bolt onto the standard draw bar. Does one have merits over the other? Are there use considerations that need to be considered?
Any input would be of interest before I buy one. Thanks in advance for anyone's feed back.

I made my own. I used a piece of heavy angle iron and bolted it to the draw bar. I welded piece on the ends with holes In them to mount two pins for the 3 point arms to mount on. I used a couple of 3 point arms I had laying around off some old tractor that I had but one can buy them fro ma farm and home place. Not all that hard to make your own
 
I have contemplated building my own hitch but right now I'm kind of strapped for the time to do that. So right now if I can just install one would be more feasible. Thanks for the input.
 
Cross and other companies sell some pretty good ones,I think OK Tractor sells the Cross or similar one.I like the style that mount on the tractor drawbar over the ones that go into the snap coupler.
 
If you can find an original AC snap-coupler three-point kit you'd have a couple problems solved. It would have a useable top link and by using the snap-coupler you'd have your traction booster at work.
 
Can't use the PTO with the original AC toplink set up plus sway control is terrible on those too.Doubt 1% of tractor owners these days would care about the traction booster anyway.
