Had to turn the mag 180, but once I did, she fired right up. And she has started several times since. This is the first time the tractor has really run right since I bought it three years ago. So thanks for the advice - now to fix a bunch of little things.

Always happy to help if and when I can. BTDT as for having a mag on 180. Shoot the mag on my JD-B is 180 out of how it is suppose to be but being a 2 cylinder I just switched the 2 wires from one side to the other which one can also do on a 4 cylinder but takes moving 4 wires 180 and if the cap is marked with a #1 it makes it harder t get right the next time
