Installing Rebuilt Mag?

After not being able to start my B last fall and this spring, I pretty much guessed that the mag was bad, so I sent it out for rebuild. Turns out it was dead. It comes back tomorrow - can I just bolt it back on and hook it up? Do I have to worry about timing or anything else? I am out of my depth with this kind of thing.

Thanks,
Tim

First off is this hand start of electric start?? If hand start timing is more important then electric start due to the fact it can break your arm if timed wrong. All the mags I have work on, on AC tractor can be installed correctly or 180 out. If electric start you install it hook up the plug wires in the correct firing order and try to start it. If it back fires and does not start good chance you have it 180 out. If 180 out pull it back off and spin it 180 then put it back on and try to start it again. Once running one can sort f time it by moving it so you get the highest RPM and easy start.
