allis B front wheels held on by rivets

is it unusual for the front wheels on a Allis B to be held on by rivets and no holes for front side weights

That was only done in 1939 not too unusual as a lot of B's were made that year.

Maybe not super rare but I've seen a whole lot of B's over the years in the hundreds and only a couple with the riveted wheels.I don't think that all the B's produced in 1939 had
those style wheels.And I'd bet that over the years many of them got replaced with the regular wheels and hubs.

My 39 has the riveted rims.

I have a 39 b with bolt on wheels, has the wide front. Were they on the narrow front tractors.

My 39 is a wide front and I have a 1944 (I believe) wide front with bolt on rims.

I picked these up about 30 years ago in hopes I'd find a good 39. I also a have a set of early rear rims and excellent tires to match. Just need the tractor. Unlikely now as all the barn finds are gone in this area.

I new a man who bought one when it was two years old. He was 102 when he passed but anyway he had one with riveted wheels. He said it was on steel originally and that was a dealer purchased factory rubber conversion.
