D - 17 Throttle Creep

Hello;

When running my 226 Gas I find that i have to pull the throttle open as it wants to close while running. Is there a adjustment for this?

Tighten the friction discs under the gas tank and make sure the counterbalance spring is there and not broken.

Never had a D-17, but on the WD/WD-45, when the throttle wont stay put, Clean the bottom of the friction blocks on the quadrant with Brake Parts Cleaner...
Then they Stay Put...
