Hi guys, I know you all have more Allis
Chalmers experience than I do. Here's my
scenario: I have an A.C. 2800 301 engine
out of an F combine. I have a fellow
interested in buying it to put in a 180
tractor. I know it will fit in there after
changing the front cover, flywheel, etc.
But, I also know it has to have the correct
oil pump (cam driven?) so the oil pan will
clear without modifying the front axle. I
was told you can tell by looking at the oil
pan or serial number, but I'm not sure what
I'm looking for, can any of you tell me if
this is the correct engine that will fit in
his tractor without all the axle mods?
Thanks guys!!
