Where is the serial number located on an Allis Chalmers WD45?

Above the lift arm shaft on the left side stamped into the rear end housing. WD146607 and newer....last one at about WD237000 or so. Anything prior to 146607 is a WD not a WD-45.

Serial number is on the left hand side of the rear end. Look at the brake cover and just below it on a flat spot is where the number should be.
