pulled lever from 1955 WD45 got out my long handle screwdriver to move forks to natural. didn't know where natural was but when I looked down the middle one showed a notch the right one showed to be to the rear of the TRACTOR THE LEFT ONE LOOKED DIFFERNT KINDA A SPRING LOADED ROUND CLIP YOU COULD PUSH IN TO THE SIDE OF THE TRACTOR BUT WOULD SPRING RIGHT BACK THAT WAS ALL I COULD GET TO MOVE TRIED CLUTCH IN CLUTCH OUT NO LUCK .I'M ASSUMING THEY SHOULD SLIDE TO THE FRONT OF THE TRACTOR AND REAR ? TRIED TO FIND A PICTURE OF HOW THEY SHOULD LOOK BUT NO LUCK, COULD NOT GET THEM TO MOVE ANY WAY WHAT AM I DOING WRONG ?

Imagine that spring loaded clip ( which is reverse) wasn't there. Make all THREE notches line up straight across from each other. That is neutral. Hand clutch forward. Long screwdriver. Small flashlite. Not that difficult.
