Going to look at a 7000 red belly that needs hyd pump. Will a hyd pump from a 180 fit a 7000 if it the red belly engine mounted pump. Thanks

It will bolt right on, but it won't work. You need one to a brown 7000 to have it work right.

I've done some deeper research on this pump question and I am now convinced if you find a good pump from a 200 or a black 7000 tractor, they can be made work. There are some different oil flow specs at the priority valve, but that could be worked around. The internal gear widths and p/n's are the same. What is wrong with your pump?? I have never scrapped a whole pump. I repair them.

I was looking at a tractors that was
sitting for a few years .missing the hyd
pump and inj pump.motor taking out for the
clutch sitting on a pallet. Asking 1800
wasn't sure if it's workable or not.
Figures 8000 hours on rest of tractor.
