Tell me about this 3 point adapter?

I bought this for a WD but it seemed too wide for the mounting rails. Could it be a factory D17 adapter?

D17 and WD45 used the same adapter. I have one for my 45. It is no where as heavy as the one in the photo.

I have an adapter like that on a D19,but the mountings are different than on the one you show.I would think it could be adapted to most any snap coupler tractor except something like a D10-12.Its the best 3pt adapter I have ever used on any snap coupler tractor so it'd be worth your while to try to make it fit your tractor.

I'm not sure, but I like the looks of it. It looks like the design would still permit the use of draft control.
I bought one from Saginaw for my D-14 - very well built, but doesn't connect under the belly of the tractor, so no draft control.

I have one like it on my D19. Works great.

I can't see from the picture, but if it's like mine the outer lift arms detach from the inner ones. A bonus is, and I don't know if this is by design or by chance, but with the outer lift arms removed a Farmall 2 point implement will plug right in. I have an IH 8' blade I use all the time.
