1948 Allis Chalmers C oil help

I use 20W-50 O'Reilly's brand oil in my C and I use UFT in the transmission/hyds area. In the bull gear pans I use 85W-140

UTF which stand for universal tractor fluid. I.E. work in the transmission and hyds of tractors. Can be found at most any auto parts store or Wal-Mart or a farm and home store. I buy mine at Orscheln's here in MO.

I was just checking because the first guy said UFT and not UTF.

That was me and that is a fast finger problem so it should have read UTF not UFT

Thank you! As I explained, this is my first Allis Chalmers and this is all new to me. When I looks for UTF all I am finding is ATF. Is that the same thing?

ATF is automatic transmission fluid so NO it is not the same as UTF. UTF will be in the same area as hyd fluid and other such oils. 303 is one of the common UTF fluids but in MO it has been taken off the market for some odd reason. I do keep ATF on hand also but I use it as a penetrating oil and it works well for that and is cheaper them things like PB Blaster
