Front mount snowblower

I have a CA Allis, with its own 3 pt hitch and a Lambert clutch. Want to mount a 60" (5ft) snow blower on front.......you know how fast reverse is on those small tractors so rear mount is out....1st gear it just crawls. Would like to install about 22hp gas engine separate for blower. Any suggestions on how to connect crankshaft from 22hp engine to PTO on blower?
I know there are a lot of smart folks about. Thanks

Not sure the CA is heavy enough, unless tires have fluid and wheel weights added. One I play with is a seven foot..

What I would do is remove the PTO shaft and then go wit ha love joy connector type of set up

You want to minimize overhang weight on the front of the tractor.....Maybe can mount engine alongside/above blower? Blower could have its own support wheels.

Can you explain a little more in detail a "Love joy type connector"
Thanks

Getting from 3600 rpm on the engine to 540 on the blower is going to be one major feat in a small space. Surplus Center sells some high reduction gear boxes, but I don't know what they are rated for in terms of rpm and power input. I would run a drop chain off the tractor PTO and a driveshaft to the front. You can Google Lovejoy couplers to see them. Basically it is a 3 prong coupler on each shaft that drives off the prongs. Think of meshing your fingers together. They use a rubber disc with fingers to cushion the coupling. I am ultimately with the others, it's going to be way too heavy for the front of a CA.

Since the blower will have its own engine, you could mount it on the rear and run the tractor at a slow idle. Rear weight would help with traction. What kind of engine are you using? What governed speed? AC power unit would be a choice...correct speed as well. And has a clutch.

I built one like that a few years ago. 12 hsp Kohler mounted on rear of tractor belt drive to a PTO shaft which went to a universal joint about where the pivot point was under the engine then another universal joint on the snowblower the front.
