The power seat on my tractor no longer works. I don't know if it is electric, hydraulic or air. Anybody know anything about these? Thanks in advance.

The suspension seat is air operated. Will have a power and ground wires for compressor.

Looking at the seat it looks like I have to pull the whole thing out to get to the compressor and or wires. Is this correct? Thanks

Yes you will have to pull the seat out.

Is your alternator charging and the tach working? On our 9170 seat won't work when it's not charging. The seat is battery powered.

Funny you should ask, I just replaced the alternator. The tach was not working, I thought my electronic display was shot. I replaced the alternator and the tach came to life, however the seat still is nonresponsive. Would you mind emailing me. I would like to ask some more questions. [email protected]
