B Carburetor Question

I have a 38 B with a Zenith 61AJ7, inner #8561A and outer #206989 on the round tag.

Can I use a Zenith 9705 on this tractor with out problems like to large or any other concerns?

That 9705 is one of 3 listed for the B so it should work just fine

I used a catalog I have to know if it was or was not correct. I keep things like that on my desk so I can use them for reference.

By the way what is wrong with your carb?? I have not found many that could not be rebuilt. And the ones I have not been able to be rebuilt I still kept them for some odd and ends parts I could save

Nothing wrong with my carb currently. I just want another for back up for when I don't have time to wait for kits in the mail.

Starter, Mag, Water Pump, Oil pump, Carb, and if any other problem happens, then I guess I'll be waiting on mail order.

Carb has been ordered.

Again thank you for confirming my findings. $170 rebuilt and delivered.

I do not know where you are so this may not be the case. I buy carb kits at my local O'Reilly's auto parts store. If they do not have it in stock they can have it with in 24 hours and many times in just a few hours.

Mine takes 3-4 days on everything, if they can even look it up. All young computer guys that are use to google.

Throw me an e-mail and I can get part numbers for you fro my local O'Reilly's. I have been shopping with them and have an account with them for 30 plus years and the people who work there know I am going to be looking for tractor parts and or odd ball auto parts and I have sort of train them

I've done that many times plus over the years I have had a number of people call me on the phone when they needed help and many found it easier to talk on the phone then on this site. Had one guy who called me about every day for a week. Last I heard he had his tractor purring like a kitten
