Allis Chalmers G what are they worth?

What is a 1948 Allis Chalmers G worth? The tires are shot. Engine is not stuck but doesn't run. It is complete with plow, side mower, and cultivators. It is 4 hours away from me. So I will need someone to haul it for me. What should I offer for it?

Thanks. The implements are appealing but even there, setting outside, weather will have taken it's toll on seals, bearings, wear surfaces, etc. Those plow bottoms may never clean up enough to scour. As for the tractor itself, even if you got it for a thousand or two, by the time you got it to looking and running like the one on CL, I bet you'd have way more in it than the price of the CL tractor. I'll hazard a guess, but sure hope others chime in. I'm looking at $1,000 total for the 3 or 4 implements and maybe a little more than that for the tractor itself, I'd guess $2,500 for the lot is the max - and maybe that's too high. It'll be an every nut and bolt removal restoration and there's unseen surprises waiting inside. Example: broken rear axles weren't uncommon on G's. There's probably water in the crankcase, transmission and differential. Good chance the front end steering is froze up too. I hope you haven't fallen too deeply in love yet.

Not a g expert but in its condition $500- $1000 Although they are exspencive in some areas they have come down some.

I got a couple about 25 years ago. Like new tires on the rear and had been repainted with a brush. . . but. Ran great and the lights worked. It came with a front snow blower, chains, cultivator, Mott mower, and most of a moldboard plow. Plus a second "parts" tractor, 95% complete, with a plow. Tires badly cracked but overall in better shape than what you're looking at. He said it ran but smoked. All for $2000.
