Is that rear end number a casting number or a stamped number?Most casting numbers start with U or AM.
If it is a stamped number, it is the "tractor" serial number and you have a 1949 WD tractor.
If you look at the "engine" number just behind the intake hose by the carburetor, there should be another number with a WD prefix....probably something like WD22502PA or GA
