What would a flat tank wc be worth if it was running and what would it be worth if is wasn't running

Oldest 1934. Newest is a 1938. Four new tires and tubes will cost $750 to $1,000 bucks. Good rear rims with flat spokes are worth less to me than round spokes or dished steel. Why?? flat spokes were a steel lug wheel cut down and had a rim welded to them. Running?? Well, it may run, but smokes bad and uses oil ?? That's almost the same as one that's stuck to me. It needs an overhaul and $1500 to $2,000 in parts will take care of that. There are soooooo many variables, like a cracked block or a transmission casting that has frozen and broke from a bad rubber shift boot and sitting outside for years. Value ?? anywhere from ZERO $$$ to whatever you want to spend and fix it up. I had an original 1937 WC that I sold for $3600 five years ago. It had original rubber and paint and I went thru the engine. It was pretty darn sharp and ran like a top. The guy I sold it to resold it a year or so ago at a Mecum Auction In Davenport, Iowa and it brought $15,000 dollars !!! It took two bidders to get it there, but they saw the value in its originality.

I bought my 1937 for around $385. It ran, looked tough, wrong front wheels, no fenders. I have before/after pix in photobucket, but can"t post them here. They would be in archives.

mIGHT SELL SOME FENDERS AND SPOKED FRONT WHEELS. SPOKES ARE GOOD BUT BIGGER RIMS WELDED IN Sorry did not see caps
