A friends D14 slips bad in all gears forward and back, what would be easyest way to tell if main clutch or power director? Have free play in main clutch. Thanks for any help.

This tractor has no PTO?
Does it have the original belly mounted hydraulic system, with levers by the steering wheel?
Rockshaft/lift arms?

no just a loader with front pump, looks like it was made for backhoe but known tractor from new and never had backhoe on it and its orange.

Well, you're eliminating all our options!

Only thing I can think of now could be a little tricky- looking up into the clutch housing while someone slips the clutch.

Is this a power director, or direction reverser?

Where is this tractor? There used to be a tractor like this in Auburn NY. I saw it once, even worked on it. But I don't remember if it had PTO, rockshaft, etc., or whether it was a shuttle clutch or not.

Found problem! Mice filled bellhouseing up and throwout bearing could not release pressure plate. Thanks for HELP
