WD45 diesel d230 energy cells

A friend is having issues with his WD-45 diesel. The energy cells were removed and 5 of the 6 had the same size hole in the concave part of the cell. The 6th one has
about 1/2 the hole that the other 5 have. This energy cell came out of cyl #6. This cyl at some point in time must have ingested something because the head has a small
hole in the combustion chamber that goes into the energy cell port, and the top of the piston has a small hole in it. He bought this at the Meecum auction in Davenport
last year. Some shady stuff has gone on with this engine but my question is, should all of the small holes be the same size? Did someone at some time replace that energy
cell with the wrong one? If all the holes are supposed to be the same size, we will drill it out to match the others.
Thank you in advance, Mark

It's been a very long time since I worked on one of those Buda engines, but this I can tell you: they should all be the same size hole. Another fact.....it's the SAME cell used in WD-45, D-17 and D-19 diesel engines. So, clearly someone has been changing parts inside that engine. Good luck.
