Getting the AC 7040 ready for the front mount snow blower, engine warms up fine but have no cab heat. Temp knob may not be working right. Does the cab top come off for access to the flow valve? Don't see it from below anyway. Thanks in advance.

Something you might try the we did back In the day was switch the 2 hose hook ups. That if there is a clog of some sort moves it so the flow comes back and in most cases that is the easy fix

Not meaning to insult you but is the coolant level full??? I know many cab tractors will not heat if they are low on coolant.

Gab the heater hoses. Are they warm or hot? this will tell you if water is making the loop. Cant do it if low on water, or a valve is shut. Have seen the heater core plug up from no water going through it all summer. Al

Coolant level is fine, hoses don't get hot as they should is why I suspect the coolant shut off valve. Will get the cab top off and take a look, want to get it ready for the front mount snow blower soon. Maybe if it's ready early it won't be needed at all this winter! Parents live back a long lane that needs to be kept open as they are in their eighty's. Hopefully this bigger toy will throw the snow easier than the smaller 7000 the blower was on last year..
