Model C Exhaust Replacement Questions

I plan to replace the original-type exhaust with a chrome one. Yesterday's Tractors lists a chrome Part # R4935 for the Model C.

Some original-looking stacks attach to the manifold with a bolt or 2 and perhaps a metal strap. One company offering a chrome exhaust for the C told me it simply presses into the manifold, no bolt or strap.

I would appreciate advice on removing my original-type stack and installing a chrome unit - especially the yesterday's tractors part cited above.

Thanks much.

Im going with DJs Tractor Parts #AC230D "Straight Chrome Exhaust Stack". It has a 3 inch OD the entire length, except for the bottom pipe where it mounts to the manifold, which has a narrower OD. I'm wondering how it mounts to the manifold, as it doesn't show or list any strap or bolts. Also, whether it will fit with no modifications.

Thank you.

If you tap the manifold to 1 1/4" tapered Pipe threads you can screw a pipe nipple in the manifold and get a chrome pipe to fit over it.
