AC B Generator

Has anyone added a generator to an AC B that does not have the bosses on the block for mounting the generator?

Yes! I even took pictures of it. I measured and cut out a templet from a block that had the bosses. I drilled and tapped the block and formed bosses to stand out the correct distance from the holes. I ground the area on the block around the holes to remove all dirt. I then used JB Weld Steel to glue the bosses fast and tightened a bolt to let the glue set up. I then formed the area around the bosses with the water weld putty stuff that that you slice off that has the hardener as part of the putty stick. After it hardened I used a die grinder to form the outside to look like the factory bosses. I gave the block in the picture to Lanse when he was still in high school.

I have drilled and tapped the block also... I did not use the JB weld, just put a couple washers under the bracket.
