175 rear main seal?

How hard is to it replace rear main seal in 175 gas, is it a full seal or 2 piece will oil pan come off with front end still on tractor or what ? Thanks for any help

Rear seal is two-piece. Crankshaft almost has to be removed (dropped down) from the block to replace the upper half. Oil pan might come off in chassis but would be a challenge depending on which front axle design it has. Are you sure it isn't just the pan rear arch gasket leaking??

No I'm not I'm putting a clutch in this tractor I just
bought and there is a little engine oil in the housing
and the crank so not sure where it's coming from, it
does have the later axle, looks like there is some
red gasket sealer on the top part of the main where
someone had it off before, so it may be the pan, let
me know what you think
