Where can i get a thinner pump cover gasket the one that came in the gasket set is to thick it is .007 that gives me .0055 end play it should be no more than .002. I would like to find a gasket that is .003 thick because the housing is .001 below the rotor . the only other choice is to machine the housing down .0035 thanks Don

cut your own from a piece of construction paper / print paper / news paper as needed.

If you need a .002 gasket you have more problems than the need for a thinner gasket. The rotor has wore down or the cover needs resurfaced. If the rotor has wore down they you most likely would have wear on the housing where the stem goes thru. In an oil pump .005 wear is a bunch.

If it is in the cover it can be smoother flat with a good flat file and time.
