Allis B Hydraulic Lever

Hydraulic lever on Allis B (pictured). How does this reattach and what does it re-attach to? Before we broke the tractor down it used to be right up beside the Right Hand fender.

They look a lot like a wire retaining clip. I looked thru my pictures and couldn't find a close up. I guess over the years no one ask before. The best picture I can find showing them at a distance on the far side of the seat.

Here is a zoom-in of area shown in Dick Ls photo. The bracket can be made by cutting a 3x4 piece of heavy sheet metal, peening the longer section around to encase the shaft of the hydraulic control arm against the seat. Then mark the holes to drill to hold it up to the seat frame, drill and bolt it on. That is how this one is made. As Dick L said, the original early B, IB, was just two clips similar to wire clips, but the later models used a plate similar to what I made here.

Sorry for the photo quality, there is a lot of rust since that tractor has been pinned in the back of my barn for about 17 years and totally unmaintained.
