To install a Delco alternator on a D-17 gas, use One-Seventy gas lower mounting bracket parts. If the D-17 is a series 3 or 4 (belt driven Power steering pump) you'll have to make a notch in the upper bracket to clear. Also leave off the alt cooling fan to clear the PS belt. Works great.
