Allis Chalmers C hydraulics

I am not getting the hydraulics to work on my 1942 Allis Chalmers C. I put new hoses on it and had the cylinders redone. I put new seals in round the pump. Do I have to prime the hydraulic pump? If so, how? Thanks in advance.

I don't think so. Is your fluid level where it should be? Might have to unhook the hose from the cylinder and put the pump in the lift position for a while to get flow.
