I bought a 5015 to till my garden. I have a 4 ft. tiller that weighs about 5-600 lbs. The lift worked for about a week and then started getting week. It would only lift it about 2-3 in. off the ground. I changed the filter as was recommended by a friend and now it does not lift at all. I think I have air in the lines but I dont know how to get it out. It will lift up the arms but if I push down on the arms they will go all the way down. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Floyd

A 5015 hinotoma made for ac. They're not real common at least
around here. Parts are hard to get as well. Sound like it may
have draft issues but I'm not real familiar with them.

Try blowing some compressed air into the oil fill
hole, while covering the vent up with your thumb.
This might force some oil up to the pump and get
the suction going. It has worked for me before.

I looked at my repair manual I just bought for my 5020. The manual does not cover the 5015...just the 5020/5030.

Does show a fair schematic of the hydraulics of the two bigger tractors which I imagine are similar to the 5015. Looks like the main hyd. system has an external relief valve at the rockshaft and the rockshaft/three-point valve itself is internal(bottom of rockshaft housing).

I would check the relief valve to see if it's stuck open....if not that it may have blown an o" ring in the rockshaft valve itself.

I bet Yesterdays Tractor has a repair manual for the 5015 Allis. This very same forum host is where I ordered my 5020 manual from.
