Economical tractor

This may not be a record, but my sister's husband bought a year old WD45 with a plow and cultivator in 1957 for $1,700 and farmed with it exclusively until 1993 when he bought a John Deere 3010 and 3020. He continued to use the old AC for a chore tractor until 2005. the plow and cultivator had worn out and sold as junk. There was no way to count the hours but I would guess about 10,000. It sold in his sale for a bit over $2,000

Except that $1700 in 1957 is equivalent to $14,700+ in 2017, and $2000 now was worth $231 in 1957.
