hello, while my uncle had allis tractors on the farm since 68, i only ran those once in awhile a d15, and a d 17, both primarily used as chore tractors, now, i just traded a running but ugly farmall cub for a running but ugly wd, engine overhauled a couple years ago, and runs good, little leak from the rear main seal, [ is there a tractor that doesnt leak there? ], i got to fix the front end which should be relatively easy [ wide front, replace missing studs on the front mount with studs] and drain and refill all gear boxes just for pm, ] it has a home made conversion for a 3 point hitch which isnt complete, id like some pics of what you guys have made for a 3 point hitch using the original lift arms, [ no snap couplers on this tractor but the arms are there and they work, i plan to do a working tractor rebuild and use it

I've done a few 3 point from snap coupler set ups and not all that hard if you can do some welding. I did one on a D-17 and my WD45 has a home made one also. I could take a few picture if I remember that is

Welcome to the forum. My first tractor was a WD bought when I was in 10 grade in school. Paid $500 for it. Dad almost always had a WD,WD45,D14 or a series II D15 around. We have all green here on the farm now but I did pick up a D15 a year ago. Tom

That "leak" may well be from the front seal of the Hydraulic reservoir..very common problem if the hydraulic oil level has been allowed to run too low..
