can a 1938 Allis B have straight front axle and be original

ivor here from UK,and I admit that I don't have a big knowledge on the history of tractors but I am learning all the time here,
earlier I was talking with someone who is going to restore a 1938 Allis B and it has a straight front axle, and he says it is original,i have a 39 Allis B which I have started to restore and it has a bow axle as I thought all early "B"s had so can an Allis Chalmers expert explain thanks in advance

According to what I see in the parts book in the US not until 1940 unless it's an IB which was a fixed axle, on your side of the pond I'm not sure

not sure on years but yes there were adjustable front axle B"s I think more so where you are at
