Battery Box Question - B

I am missing the side and top covers on my battery box. I had to order some parts, so I also ordered a side cover, thinking I did not need the top since the tractor will always be stored inside. But it looks like there is no way to hold on the side cover without the top cover? I see no way the new side cover will stay on the box. Do I either need to order the top, or a complete new box?

Yes. The top should fit over and around the side panels, and when the nuts are fastened to the studs protruding through the top cover, all will be secure in place.

just take a thin steel strap and run across the top between two studs to clamp things down... not a full cover.
