Leak under D 17

Howdy;

I have a leak that appears to be ccming from about where the traction booster is located at the bottom of the tractor. having not worked on this area before, what is involved in capping off this leak?

Thanks

I assume this not a series 4 model?? If you are referring to the short lever underneath the hydraulic sump, you'd have to drain the hydraulic oil (2 1/2 gallons) disconnect the Traction Booster link rod and remove the sump to replace the seal on the arms shaft. I've never had to replace one of those seals, so are you sure that's what the leak is?? I've seen missing copper gaskets on the drain plug before..............
