Need to replace oil pan gasket, but can't get the front support to slide forward. It moves about 5/8 inch and stops. I think my problem is that I'm trying to slide it straight out on long dowel pins screwed into the bottom two holes holding it to the side frames, which I thought was kosher, but it looks like it needs to slide about an inch towards the steering shaft side for the ram to clear the pump side side frame. Any experts here to give some advice?
