allis combine

Have an old Allis Combine, pull type. Was being used until it was parked in the barn in 1990 when grandpa passed away. Grandma
passed last fall and i am trying to find out what the combine is worth for the family. If anyone can help with advice i would be
grateful.

It might be worth scrap or it might be worth 500 dollars or more to the right person. It would be best if we saw pictures of it in order to give the best advice. Advertise it in an area farm publication or take it to a high profile ag auction lot. Yes, auctions cost a fee but there is a chance two guys might fight over it and pay more than it would be worth otherwise making up for the fee. You can usually bid stuff back if the bidding is not to your liking but there is a fee for that as well. Post a picture, please.

Hard to offer advice re worth unless we know which model it is...could be a 60 from the 50s, 66 from later 50s/60s, 72, 0r 90, from even later.
also depends which attachments go with it. If it has a 2 row cornhead, collectors will bid much higher. This is a mid 60s model 66 with corn head.

Looks like a 90 I've seen those sell around $1500 appears to be in good shape.What part of the country are you located?

We are about 30 miles north of Springfield Missouri near the Stockton Lake.

That is a model 90. Made from 1957-1960. Along with hyd header lift, it also had hyd reel lift, 7 1/2 foot wide header, and a 30 bu bin.

You shouldn't have any problem selling it,a lot of people that are growing small amounts of small grains would like a combine like that and the AC 90 was one of the best pull types
ever built.Now is the time to start advertising it as Oats,wheat and barley will be ready to harvest in the next couple or so months.Try Craigslist and the Unofficial Allis site
to advertise.

Im not sure if it has a scour kleen attachment. I will have to do some looking and see. Will i know if it has one on it by
looking, with a name on it or something.

send me some pics. rear of combine and sides. also send a pic where the grain drops into the bin,the scour kleen would be on top of that elevator. look underneath the combine to see if any of the steel is rusted thru where the augers are in that carry the grain.i am interested if its not rusted thru.

Doesn't have a hydraulic reel lift only had hydraulic header lift.

I would advertise it at $1500 and work from there, you can always lower the price. Since from the picture you posted it looks in really good condition.
