AC 860 cotton stripper

I'm trying to remember what was used in the hydraulic system on the old AC 860 cotton strippers. I remember using ATF but can't remember if it was type f or Dexron. I think dexron, but I can't find my old manual and figured it would be easier asking here that trying to find the manual.

The combines used sexton 2 at least they did in the
eighties. Tony

I think my stripper was a 78 model and I remember having dexron around for something....I drove Ford products at that time,...so I'm thinking you must be right about the dexron.
