Some time back I heard of an alternate supplier for a belt for a L-59 Woods mower on an AC b. Anyone know of an alternate source and part number. Woods dealers are tooo expensive.

Ted I use a good year B225 I get them from Bearing Distributers in North Canton. They are good belts

I get my belts at NAPA. You can take an old broken belt without numbers and measure it to get the correct belt if all else fails. Without looking I think NAPA's number was B-225 Last week I started my seventh season with a belt bought from NAPA on my C with a Woods 59. Sets outside 24/7/365.

We bought one online a few years ago that has worked well, I think about $40. Our old belt was still usable so I ran a 50 foot tape around the outside of the run and got an accurate measurement, and ordered the corresponding size. It wasn't easy to get the tape all the way around, I tied the end to the belt and turned the mower by hand while my wife kept the tension on the tape. I think we bought a B 225 but different tractors would use different sizes. We have a Farmall C with an L 59.
