Rebuilding the power director clutch on a
180. I reinstalled clutch onto the input
shaft.While air checking the clutches there
seems to be a lot of air leaking out of
where the sealing rings go.are the sealing
rings a tight enough fit nothing is suppose
to leak or is it suppose to leak to keep the
sealing rings lubed up?
 
Three new sealing rings I hope??? Many times I replace the housing with the lip seal because of grooving where the sealing rings ride. Air leaks easier than oil, yes. Make sure you did not press the input shaft lip seal in to the bottom or it will block the drain hole. Only press in flush with the O.D.
 
So you do not have this tractor together yet ? Is the 3 sealing rings into the housing of the Powerdirector ?
