D 17 PTO Question

Hello;

Am going to replace the rear PTO seal on a 63 Series 111 D 17.

Where do i add the fluid to bring the level back up to where it belongs?

Sitting in the tractor seat, the dipstick to the right of the gear shift with the bigger breather head is where you add/check the transmission/differential compartment fluid levels. Mike

If you drive the front wheels down in a ditch (3 ft deep) you won't lose any oil when you remove the seals cover. Do NOT pull the PTO shaft out !!!!
