Fella's, Have my Pa's lil B split for a clutch change and it has the pressure plate with the 3 groups of 2 bolts and i believe is 8 1/2 inch clutch. My question is- can I install the 9 inch clutch for a replacement as long as the pressure plate has the 3groups of 2 bolt pattern??- I noticed that some of the 9inch clutch kits have this 3group of 2bolt pattern and did not know if i could use the 9inch kit in place of the 8 1/2 inch if the bolt holes on the press plate would match up? The 8 1/2 inch clutch on the tractor now has the press plate with the "flats" on the sides instead of the "round" press plate i see included with the 9inch clutch. The one 9" i seen had a round press plate but the 3group 2bolt pattern. Hope this wasnt to confusing, Thanks so much for any help, Hoss

Not sure what the difference is, but the flywheels for the 2 clutches have different part numbers. Every single part number is different between the two clutches. I'm going to guess youd have to swap the complete assembly flywheel and all.

Aaron, Thanks so much for the reply, I kinda figured that was the case (changing flywheel)the cost of the 8 1/2" clutch is almost twice as the 9" so wanted to understand my options. Thanks again, Hoss

Might not hurt to look up Rick Corder in Wentsville Mo. He does clutch work. Can't remember if he is on this page or not, but I k ow he is on the unofficial page.

Guys, Thanks for the additional info on the lil B clutch. I went ahead and bit the bullet an ordered the 8 1/2" clutch like was in it.(I know it will fit)I was just trying to figure the price difference, with the 9" being half the price. And yes Rick Corder is for sure the "go to" guy on clutches. I just got done workin with Rick on a clutch I put in my WC 2wks ago and he was a pleasure to do buisness with and the clutch I purchased from him was top notch all the way. The thing is I havent been able to reach him as of late so thats why I hit you boys up for info. And yes he was on "the other site" Thanks again, Hoss
