I don't recall running my G last summer, so it must have been fall before last I parked her in the corner of the shed. I meant to siphon the 1/3rd tank of gas out, then run 'till dry but that goes on my list of things I forgot to do. So, yesterday being a really nice day before the severe thunderstorms hit in the evening, I started her up. She started right up with just a wee bit of choke, and run good. I let her warm up good, then put her to bed again. I hope to run her more this summer so didn't drain the fuel out. Again I don't remember, but I may have put Stabil in the gas.

I know what you mean. I sure hoped to stir up some activity on the unusually quiet AC forum, especially on the Model G. Maybe I should tell about how I have my Model G running at 50 mph - OK, well not quite - somehow a zero slipped in there!

I don't use my G much any more but I love it. Some years back I was having trouble starting it and ended up burning up the starter. Turned out to be the condenser from a new ignition kit. Got the starter fixed, new field coils, but it ran backwards. I never did get it back to the shop and he's gone now but it starts wo easily with the crank I never fixed it. I'm careful not to stall it, too painful to get off and on these days.
